What are the Seven Deadly Sins?

The list (with some variation) is: pride, anger, envy, greed, laziness, lust and gluttony.

The list, as such, does not appear in the Bible, but it is consistent with Biblical teachings. Some say the list originated with Pope Gregory the Great (540-604), but that is not certain.
